Late Night Thursday -
Under the creative direction of Karl Lagerfeld – one of the world’s most influential and iconic designers – his namesake fashion house represents a modern collection that reflects the designer’s own style and soul.
For the KARL LAGERFELD Fall-Winter 2018 main campaign, Karl Lagerfeld was inspired by one of his greatest passions: architecture. The collection combines his eye for building design — as seen in minimalistic lines, feminine curves and futuristic finishes — with an athletic-chic feel and textured fabrics.
As is tradition, Karl shot the campaign at his iconic Parisian studio, 7L in Saint-Germainde-Prés. It was styled by French fashion editor Carine Roitfeld, and Karl’s own photographs of Parisian architecture appear in the background.
The campaign features model and international influencer Kaia Gerber, who is the face of KARL LAGERFELD for Fall-Winter 2018. She has also co-designed the “KARL LAGERFELD X KAIA” capsule collection, which will launch this fall and features its own campaign. Kaia has quickly achieved acclaimed status in the global fashion industry, from the moment she made her runway debut at New York Fashion Week SS18. She has over 3.5 million Instagram followers and is the daughter of ‘90s supermodel Cindy Crawford.
