Gunwharf Quays has excellent public transport links. Portsmouth Harbour train station, The Hard Bus Interchange, the Gosport Ferry and Wightlink foot-passenger terminal are all only 5 minutes’ walk away.
A short drive takes you to the Isle of Wight Car Ferry terminal, and Gunwharf Quays is only a 10 minute drive from the cross-channel ferry terminal in Portsmouth.
Exit the M27 at Junction 12, then join the M275 motorway which brings you directly in to Portsmouth, and then follow the brown signs for the Historic Waterfront leading you straight to Gunwharf Quays. Use postcode PO1 3TZ for SAT NAV.

Gunwharf Quays car park is a 1,500 space multistorey underground car park, open 24-hours a day, seven days a week.
Please note there is a 2.2m height restriction to be able to get into the car park.

Overflow Car Park
On weekends and busier days please consider using our Wickham Street Car Park (use postcode PO1 3EF for SAT NAV). We have 420 spaces available and is fully staffed and secure. Just a two-minute walk away opposite the Hard Interchange. Please note there is a 1.8m height restriction to be able to get into this car park.

Motorcycles
To enter the car park please take a left turn after the traffic lights which take you down past The Holiday Inn. This will give you easy access through on your bike.
We offer up to approximately 20 free motorcycle spaces just past the car park office on the way in.
Please note: no overnight motorcycle parking unless by prior permission.

The A3(M) or M27/A27 connect Portsmouth Harbour with the rest of Britain's motorway network. Alternatively, you can use the City's Park and Ride service which runs daily.

Portsmouth's Park & Ride service offers commuters and visitors to the city a quick, easy and cheap way into Portsmouth. It is conveniently located on the M275, Junction 1, and is open daily.
Buses run every 15 minutes at peak times, with request stops including the City Centre, Portsmouth University and The Hard Interchange. The hop-on, hop-off nature of the service also means passengers can travel between stops.
During the summer months an additional park and ride bus service to Southsea is available at weekends – check the website for more information on specific dates and times.
Regular customers can benefit from cheaper fares by purchasing a smartcard.

Portsmouth Harbour railway station is positioned right next door to Gunwharf Quays.
Travelling to the centre couldn't be easier with South Western Railway, Southern Trains and Great Western Railway, with regular trains running all day to and from the station.
The Hard Bus Interchange is a short walk from Gunwharf Quays, providing direct and easy access for all bus and coach passengers.
There is also a coach drop-off and pickup point on site.
Situated in the heart of Portsmouth with its network of cycle routes, coming by bike to Gunwharf Quays couldn't be easier.
Once here there are five areas of cycle racks around the site where you can lock up your bike while you are here.
We do ask that you please dismount from your bike when you get here and push it through the pedestrianised area to the cycle racks.
Gunwharf Quays is next door to the Isle of Wight and Gosport ferry terminals.
Wightlink foot passenger terminal from Ryde Pier Head (Isle of Wight) is a short 5 minute walk from Gunwharf Quays. Similarly, the car ferry terminal from Fishbourne(Isle of Wight) is a short 5 minute walk or drive from the centre.
If you have your own boat, it couldn't be easier to get here! Moor up in our Gunwharf Quays Marina, and take advantage of our shops and restaurants, which are just a short pontoon walk away.
Hovercraft is the quickest route to Gunwharf Quays from the Isle of Wight.
Just 10 minutes across the Solent followed by a short bus ride will get you here.
