Gunwharf Quays has excellent public transport links, as well as a 1,500 space underground car park that gives direct access to the outlet centre. Portsmouth Harbour train station, The Hard Bus Interchange, the Gosport Ferry and Wightlink foot-passenger terminal are all only 5 minutes walk from Gunwharf Quays. A short drive takes you to the Isle of Wight Car Ferry terminal, and Gunwharf Quays is only 10 minutes drive from the cross-channel ferry terminal in Portsmouth.
Exit the M27 at Junction 12, then join the M275 motorway which brings you directly in to Portsmouth, and then follow the brown signs for the Historic Waterfront leading you straight to Gunwharf Quays. Use postcode PO1 3TZ for SAT NAV.

Gunwharf Quays car park is a 1,500 space multistorey underground car park, and is one of the largest underground car parks in the UK. The car park is open 24-hours a day, seven days a week.

If you travel to the Isle of Wight using any Wightlink service, then you can claim parking at a reduced rate per 24 hours (a 25% discount on our day rate but excluding festival periods). Following your visit to the Isle of Wight and prior to paying for your car parking, please pop into the Car Park office during opening hours with proof of your travel to receive a validated reduced ticket rate. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide a refund or reduced rates after your visit.

Portsmouth has an excellent Park & Ride located just outside the city off the M275. Regular buses will speed you directly to Gunwharf Quays in minutes and all day parking is only £4. Portsmouth Harbour railway station is positioned right next door to Gunwharf Quays, and travelling to the centre couldn't be easier with South Western Railway, Southern Trains and Great Western Railway, with regular trains running all day to and from the station. The Hard Bus Interchange is a short walk from Gunwharf Quays, providing direct and easy access for all bus and coach passengers.

There is a coach drop-off and pickup point on site.
Situated in the heart of Portsmouth with its network of cycle routes, coming by bike to Gunwharf Quays couldn't be easier.
Once here there are five areas of cycle racks around the site where you can lock up your bike while you are here.
We do ask that you please dismount from your bike when you get here and push it through the pedestrianised area to the cycle racks.
Gunwharf Quays is next door to the cross-harbour, Isle of Wight, and Gosport ferry terminals.
If travelling from the Isle of Wight, Wightlink foot passenger terminal from Ryde Pier Head is a short 5 minute walk walk from Gunwharf Quays. Hovercraft is the quickest route to Gunwharf Quays from the Isle of Wight.
If you want to experience some of the best shopping and entertainment on the South Coast, then hop on Hovertravel for a very speedy trip from Ryde to Southsea. Just 10 minutes across the Solent followed by a short bus ride will get you to Gunwharf Quays. The hovercraft is the quickest way to travel from the Isle of Wight and with crossings every 30 minutes you can be shopping or eating in no time at all.
Hovertravel runs services from 06:15 to 21:00, so you can pick a crossing to suit, then catch the Hoverbus to either the Hard or the bus stop opposite HMS Temeraire sport ground.
Travelling across the Solent at up to 35 knots and 1.5 metres above the sea is a great way to get to and from the Isle of Wight, plus with no baggage restrictions on Hovertravel flights you can shop as much as you like.
