Pret A Manger Gunwharf Quays

Eat Well & Be Brilliant this New Year

Pret A Manger is continuing its commitment to veggie, vegan and flexitarian customers this New Year, with more than fifteen colourful new menu items launching in January.

Veggie Pots

Due to their success in the original Veggie Pret, three popular Veggie Pots will be adding a splash of colour to Pret fridges across the UK from January 5th.

Courgetti Veggie Pot, £2.25 – veggie

Mint and cucumber yoghurt raita topped with spiralized courgettes, chopped mint and parsley. Served with chargrilled red peppers and toasted pine nuts.

Rainbow Veggie Pot, £2.25 – vegan

A colourful pot combining humous, chantenay carrots, radishes and mustard cress.

Asian Greens Veggie Pot, £2.49 – vegan

Avocado, peas, edamame and coriander with an Asian-inspired dressing and a sprinkling of mixed sesame seeds.

New Soups & Brilliant Broths

On January 5th three new veggie flavours will be joining Pret’s range of dairy-free and gluten-free soups. As with the rest of the range, the new soups are also all under 250 calories.

Spiced Corn & Quinoa, £3.45 - vegan

A delicately spiced, Peruvian-inspired soup. Roasted cumin and coriander seeds are blended with yellow chilli powder and turmeric. The spice mix is then added to sweetcorn, cauliflower, and red quinoa, then finished with fresh coriander and lime juice.

Greens & Grains, £3.45 - vegan

Spinach, petit pois, broccoli, basil, leek, cavolo nero, onion and garlic are simmered with coconut cream and vegetable bouillon. Brown rice, quinoa, buckwheat and millet provide body before the soup is finished with toasted pumpkin seeds, seasoning and a little lemon zest.

Cauliflower & Chickpea Dhal, £3.45 - vegan

A classic dhal bursting with flavour. Cauliflower florets are simmered in a vegetable bouillon with green chickpeas, yellow split peas, lentils and tomato. Lightly spiced with ginger, garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, turmeric, cardamom, black onion seeds and chilli. Finished with coconut flakes and a squeeze of lemon juice.

Veggie Miso, £1.99 – vegan

From 24th January Pret’s miso soup recipe will become vegan, and customers will be able to make it spicy by adding fresh ginger or a shake of chilli flakes. For the carnivores, Pret will also be launching a Bone Broth, following the results of a successful trial in 2016.

Vegan Breakfasts

Mango Chia Pot, £2.25 – vegan

Dairy-free coconut yoghurt with chia seeds, diced mango and pomegranate.

Apple & Pomegranate Overnight Oats, £1.99 - vegan

Gluten-free oats soaked overnight with shredded apple, almond milk, apple juice and a hint of cinnamon, then topped with pomegranate seeds & shredded apple.

Pret’s Coconut Porridge, £2.65 – vegan
