Family Saturdays

Visit and join the Aspex team every Saturday between 11am to 1pm, for free drop-in art workshops suitable for the whole family. Explore a different creative activity each week, such as painting, model making, printmaking, and inventing in these relaxed sessions suitable for all ages, interests and abilities.

Generate

Generate is a weekly inclusive arts workshop for people with dementia at Aspex, with a self run carers group running alongside. The sessions provide a comfortable environment for participants to learn new arts and crafts skills, whilst enjoying a weekly sociable activity.

The group emerged from a research project with the University of Portsmouth which aimed to explore how visual arts workshops could benefit the lives of people with dementia.
